So when we arrived in New Orleans the tire was blown out. To be honest, I’m not positive how long I’d been driving on just 5 tires, but that can’t be good!
We spent a couple days in New Orleans and by the third day we were going to visit the nearest National Park (swamp). It was raining and by the time we had driven almost an hour to get there, it was pouring. Now, we had hiked in the pouring rain at the Redwoods so I don’t mind that, but five minutes into our walk there was lightning. I don’t like to hike in that, so we hauled back to the RV park and drove for another 45 minutes in a flash flood. Luckily the flooding didn’t stop us and we made it back.
When it was time to head to Florida, it was rainy. My toilet was clogged and one of my jacks not only wouldn’t retract, but was in a puddle so Caleb had to lay in the water to get it up. My tow light wasn’t working, my windshield wiper was messed up and took forever to fix (on the road) and I needed to pump up my tires again. Oh yeah, and I forgot to get a new spare tire so I was praying constantly that my tire wouldn’t blow out (the one that was doing all the work before).
Long story short, we made it to Florida, got to a gorgeous beach and prepped for our next segment.
Harmony’s Corner
We went to New Orleans and it was great! (Except for the part where Caleb called me the worst for not giving him my food twice) and here is the delicious Po-Boys which stands for poor boy.
We went to this place and saw cool masks. I also tried one mask on.
I had some French donuts and some hot chocolate. It was delicious.
We went to the Gulf Of Mexico To us it was super cold but then I started to get used to it. I felt like I almost got killed and you’re not supposed to swim even though it said swimming area.
Before that we went to McDonald’s I got a Mocha Frappe. In Kansas we went to the Futuristic McDonald’s and this was a lot like that.
